🎥✨ Spotlight on Our Morning Announcement Crew! ✨🎥
Every day first thing in the morning, these talented students go live on the Thomas Jefferson News Network to bring our school the morning news! From writing scripts and running the software and teleprompter to interviewing staff and creating amazing backgrounds and graphics, this team does it all.

We’re so proud of their creativity, leadership, and behind-the-scenes hard work!

This Friday, December 12, 5th grade students will have the opportunity to purchase small handmade craft items created by students during their recess time over the past month. Each item costs one dollar. (Please note that we will not be able to make change, so if your student would like to buy something, please send exact change or dollar bills).

All money raised will be donated to The Water Project, a non-profit organization that provides reliable clean-water solutions to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. After reading the novel A Long Walk to Water, our fifth-grade students learned about the main character, Salva, and his efforts to build wells in areas without access to safe drinking water. Inspired by his work, the students decided to raise funds by creating and selling their own handmade items.
